Dorothy T. Charette

Dorothy T. (Pontbriand) Charette, 91, of Fall River, wife of the late of Oscar R. Charette, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. She had been employed by Big G and Cumberland Farms, retiring at age 75. She loved reading, playing slots at Foxwoods and lobster, but her passion in life was the time and adventures she had with her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She was the mother of Richard Charette wife Susan (Arruda),
the late David Charette wife Deborah (Darmody), Susan Melia husband the late Michael Melia, Judith Rheault husband Thomas Rheault, Paul Charette wife Donna (Cincotta), Alan Charette wife Susan (Farrell) and Christopher Charette; the grandmother of Kristen Farias, Scott Charette, Mary Charette, Sherri Melia, Jeffrey Melia, Rebecca Ferreira, Jonathan Rheault, Renae Charette, Emily Charette, Jessica Fallon, Carol Avery, Jessica Flint, Carmine Cincotta, Robert LeBlanc, and Alexandra Charette; the great-grandmother of Zachary, Aidan, Ella, Cora, Madison, Kassidy, Camden, Paige, Mia, Brynn, Andrew, Mason, Julianna, Mariah, Addison, Ella, Brooke, Alivia, Dexter, Victoria, Maxwell, Ashley, Destinie, Hayleigh, Logan and Cecily; the sister of Hector Pontbriand and the late Lucille L'Heureux and Pauline Medeiros.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:15 AM. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. Anne Shrine at 9:30 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.
