Dorothy B. Ashworth

Dorothy (Thibault) Ashworth, 83, of Charles St., Swansea, died at Charlton Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 9, 2006. She was the wife of the late Walter D. Ashworth. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Adelard and Laura (Barrette) Thibault, she lived in Fall River for many years and in Swansea for the past 51 years. She was employed in the garment industry. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Mercier of Swansea; a son, Walter J. Ashworth , also of Swansea; a sister, Juliette Cohen of New Jersey; 3 granddaughters; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; She was the sister of the late Adelard Thibault, Leo Thibault, Norman Thibault, Edgar Thibault, Arthur Thibault, Lillian Mc Kane, Rita Fleet and Aurore Coons. Private arrangements are by the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River.
