Dorothy "Dotty" (Rebello) Almeida

Dorothy "Dotty" Almeida, 85, of Swansea, a former employee of Saint Anne's Hospital, widow of Tobias "Toby" Almeida, died at home, Thursday, August 21, 2014, her family by her side. She was an avid reader and loved spending time in her yard with her family. Survivors include sons, James Almeida and his wife Jessi of Fall River and Robert Almeida; grandchildren, Zachary, Kassy, Meaghen, Kimberly, Robbie, Andrew and Lindsey; siblings, Robert S. Rebello and his wife Denise of Fall River and Sandra Whitener and her husband Donald of Swansea and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Steven Almeida; the sister of the late Richard Rebello (wife late Annette) and the daughter of the late Antone and Beatrice (Servant) Rebello. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St.Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea, at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER FREE ENTRANCE at rear of funeral home.
