Doris (Thibault) Senechal

Doris (Thibault) Senechal, 80, of Quequechan St., Fall River, widow of Anselm "Sam" Senechal, died Friday, January 28, 2011. She worked in Fall River's garment industry and was a member and shop steward with the ILGWU, now UNITE. She was past-president of the Dover Social Club Ladies Auxiliary and greatly enjoyed bowling at the Holiday Lanes, Westport. An excellent vocalist, she sang at numerous social events at the invitation of area bands. She leaves 3 children, Paulette Gilmore and her husband Gary of Fall River, Paul Renaud and his wife Jaime of Maine, and Denise Simon and her husband Michael of Minnesota; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine Bosse of Somerset and Donald Thibault of Las Vegas, Nevada; and nieces and nephews and their extended families. She was the daughter of the late Blanche (Yelle) Thibault; and the sister of the late Leo and Wilfred Thibault. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Wednesday prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
