Doris (Belanger) Sands

Doris (Belanger) Sands, 68, of No. Dartmouth, formerly of Fall River and New Bedford, wife of 47 years of Alfred D. Sands, died Friday, December 21, 2007. She was employed by Lightolier and was a member of Calvary Temple. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Emma (Potvin) Belanger and the sister of Yvonne Dube of Portsmouth, RI, Emma Nunes and Roland Belanger, both of Fall River, Dorothy Wyka of Swansea, Raymond Belanger of Tiverton, Theresa Gagliastri of Smithfield, RI and the late Eugene Belanger. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 5:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Wednesday afternoon prior to the service from 3:00 to 5:30 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
