Doris G. Gamache (Canuel) Kaegael

Doris G. (Canuel) Gamache Kaegael, 86, of Beechwood Dr., Westport, formerly of Stafford Rd., Fall River, wife of former FRPD Deputy Chief Theodore J. Kaegael and widow of Muriel Gamache, died Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was a member of the Liberal Club Ladies Auxilliary. Besides her husband of 48 years, she leaves children, Dr. Robert Gamache and his wife Suzanne of Dunstable, MA and Michelle Silvia and her husband John of Fall River; stepchildren, Theodore J. Kaegael, Jr. and his wife Nadene of Middleboro, MA and Joseph Kaegael and his wife Bridget of Westport; grandchildren, Justinne and Peter Gamache, and Morgan, Devan, Elizabeth and Benjamin Kaegael; a great-granddaughter, Lucy Elizabeth Kaegael; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Lionel A. Gamache; the stepmother of the late Kathleen Quirk (husband Michael of Adamsville, MA); the daughter of the late Alphonse and Lydia (Pelletier) Canuel; and the sister of the late Lillian Lamontagne, Leoza Riley and Raymond, Lionel, Benoit, Maurice, Robert, Gerard and Arthur Canuel. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 AM.
