Doris Y. (Dutilly) Gamache

Doris (Dutilly) Gamache, 97 formerly of Parker Street, Fall River, died Thursday, August 6, 2015. She was the wife of the late Edward Gamache for 60 years and the daughter of the late Valmore and Josephine (Berube) Dutilly. She retired from the Anderson Little Company, where she worked in the pants department for 31 years and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union. Doris was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. She always enjoyed family, and going to Foxwoods. She is survived by her son, Richard Gamache and his wife Suzan of Woonsocket, RI and her daughter Elaine (Gamache) Hutchinson and her husband Robert of Fall River, MA; four grandchildren, Richard D. Gamache (wife Angie), of Portsmouth, RI., Patricia Gamache of Fall River, MA, Kimberly Barnwell (husband Robert) of Swansea, MA and Thomas Hutchinson (wife Prity) of Upton, MA; five great-grandchildren Meghan, Corey and Adam Gamache and Jonathan and Jillian Barnwell, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ernest Dutilly, George Dutilly, Alice Gibeau, Evelyn Dunn, Marie Louise Sirois Rutkowski and Gilbert Dutilly. Doris' family would like to thank all the staff at Clifton Nursing and Rehabilitative Center for all the excellent care she received there and would also like to thank everyone who took the time out of their busy schedule to visit. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 a.m.. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
