Doris (Masson) Cabral

Doris L. (Masson) Cabral, 80, of No. Main St., Fall River, formerly of Westport, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Idola (Masson) Masson and the sister of the late Gertrude Forand and Leonard Masson Corbiere. She leaves 4 children, Rosemary Caron (husband Raymond) and Susan Rapoza (husband Ernest), all of Fall River, Ernie Cabral (partner Angie) and Catherine Lopes (husband Allan) of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren, Gregory Caron (wife Julie), Julie Aguiar (husband Roger), Ernest Rapoza (wife Susan), Bethany Turco (husband John) and Jessica Lopes; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Nicholas Caron and Abigail and Cadence Aguiar and a sister, Jeannette Boyer. Doris was employed by the St. George School Cafeteria, Westport until disability forced her retirement in 1971. She enjoyed knitting, reading and cooking. She was a member of the Franco American Civic League and a Multiple Sclerosis Society volunteer. Doris' family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center for the loving care enjoyed by their mother during her extended stay. Visitation, Friday 2:00 to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., # 6, Waltham MA 02451. Large parking area at the rear of funeral home. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
