Doris J. (Pelletier) Bento

Doris J. (Pelletier) Bento, of Fall River, passed away, Sunday, July 3, 2016, at the age of 87, She was the wife of the late Lionel M. "Leo" Bento.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Catherine (Michaud) Pelletier. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River and a communicant of St. Anne Church. Mrs. Bento was a bookkeeper and later an office manager for many years, retiring in 1989.

She was the sister of the late Raymond L. Pelletier and George E. Pelletier. She leaves her sister-in-law and best friend, Doris B. Pelletier; a nephew, Raymond M. Pelletier and his wife Dawn and their children, Kayla, Andrew, Emily and Benjamin; and a niece, Claire Carreiro and her husband Edward and their children, Michael Carreiro and Karen Corga and her husband Dinis and their son Antonio.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Church. Interment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery. In accordance with her wishes, calling hours and flowers are omitted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
