Doris L. (Mello) Arruda

Doris L. (Mello) Arruda, 77, of Tiverton, formerly of Fall River and Swansea, wife of Raymond R. Arruda, died Friday, May 1, 2009. Mrs. Arruda and her husband owned and operated A & A Bookkeeping Service for many years. She enjoyed visiting Foxwoods Casino. Besides her husband of 56 years, she leaves a daughter, Dale Marchand and her husband Steve of Tiverton; a granddaughter, Jennifer Copithorne and her husband Mark of Webster, MA; and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Sadie Copithorne. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Mendoza) Mello. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited.
