Doris Aguiar

Doris (Vezina) Aguiar, 89, of Westport, wife of the late Arthur Aguiar, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. A longtime employee of the Shelburne Shirt Company, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Somerset Senior Village Club. She leaves three children, Michael Stubbs and his wife Patricia of Somerset, Kenneth Stubbs and his wife Kathleen of Fall River and Catherine Bernier and her husband Pierre of Westport; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Lorraine Langlais of Somerset and Annette Heath of Tiverton and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Arlene Hebert and Arthur Aguiar, Jr., the sister of the late Claire Jusseaume and Anita Cote and the daughter of the late Romeo and Laura (Garant) Vezina. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. Thomas More Church, Somerset at 10:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
