Doria L. Fournier Couture

Doria L. (Beland) Fournier Couture, 88, of Borden Place East, 111 Borden St., Fall River, formerly of Bowers St., Fall River and Anawan St., Somerset, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. She was the wife of the late Horace Fournier and the late Elizee Couture. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (St.Pierre) Beland, she lived in Fall River most of her life and in Somerset for 12 years.. She was employed by Bristol Knitting Mills, Providence Pile and Arkwright Finishing Co. and was a member of St. Anne Senior Citizens Club and South Somerset Improvement Association. Survivors include 2 sons, Paul A. Fournier and his wife Andrea and Richard W. Fournier, all of Fall River; a daughter, Jeannine C. Turcotte and her husband Adrien of Tiverton; 3 stepsons, Roger J. Couture of Swansea and Raymond Couture and Paul Couture, both of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Laurie Godwin and Ryan Turcotte; 2 great-grandsons, Andre and Isaiah Godwin; a sister-in-law Bertha Fournier and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene Wilson, Rhea O'Driscoll and Raymond, Armand and Arthur Beland. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
