Doreen McElroy, 42, of American Legion Highway, Westport, formerly of Fall River, died Thursday, November 6, 2008.
A former employee of the James L. Maher Center at the Naval Base, Newport, she enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and was an avid Red Sox fan.
She leaves her parents, Eugene and Madeline (Rosa) McElroy of Westport; twin daughters, Jennifer and Jessica McElroy, both of Fall River; grandchildren, Madison McElroy and Dylan Ploude; siblings, Joseph Denny of Westport and Deborah Costa and Robert and Brian McElroy, all of Fall River and uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
