Dora "Dot" (Desrosiers) Lamar

Dora "Dot" (Desrosiers) Lamar, 66, of County St., Fall River, wife of Kenneth Lamar, Sr., died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 15, 2007. A lifelong resident of Fall River she was employed by the former R. N. Koch Jewelry Corp., No. Providence and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and crafts. Besides her husband of 40 years she is survived by 4 children, Jeannine Courchaine of Brussels, Wisconsin, Donna Couchaine-Borges (husband Manny) of Fall River, Brenda Lewis (husband Craig) of Fairhaven and Kenneth Lamar,Jr. (wife Crystal) of Tiverton; grandchildren, Brian and Randy Guimar, Paul and Jonathon Rodrigues, Craig, Jr., Emily and Devon Lewis, Chad DaSilva and Tyler, Braeton and Spencer Lamar; a great-grandson Keenan Guimar; brothers, Robert Desrosiers of Palm Springs, CA, Roger Desrosiers of Westport and Paul Desrosiers of Fall River. She was the daughter of the late Antone and Dorilla (Banville) Desrosiers and the sister of the late Doreen Sherman and Normand and Lionel Desrosiers. A funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, prior to the service Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. PORTICO, LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
