Donna (Trahan) Arruda

Donna (Trahan) Arruda, 68, of Seekonk, formerly of Dighton, unexpectedly passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, after sustaining injuries from a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver.  Her husband of 38 years, Floriano Arruda, and grandson, Jacoby Arruda, who they raised, also tragically passed away as a result of the accident.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Rebello Napert (husband Brock),  and Carl Rebello, Lisa Arruda-Graham (husband John), Keith Arruda and the late Ryan Arruda.
Siblings, Richard Trahan (late wife, Connie), Robert Trahan, Scott Trahan, Steven Trahan, Stacey (Trahan) DeCosta (husband Derek) and the late Sidney Trahan, Jr. Nieces and nephews Dawn Trahan, Alison Trahan, Matthew Mendes, Amber Allan, Ashlyn Ferreira, Autumn Trahan, William Trahan, Heather Trahan-Martins, Christopher Trahan and Jason Trahan.

Grandchildren, Alexis Pacheco, Aliyah Fonseca, Kory Arruda, Robert John (RJ) Graham, Jordan Dion, Makayla Pimentel, Austin Arruda, Hailey Arruda, Keith Arruda Jr and Alexis
Arruda and great grandchildren Eden Mae Melo, Paityn Dion-Zahara and Kynslee Pimentel and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Donna was born in Fall River, MA and was the daughter of the late Sidney and Irene (Benoit) Trahan. Donna worked in the Dighton Rehoboth School System. She saw the good in everything, always had a coffee in her hand, gave selflessly to her loved ones and had a great laugh. Donna was a strong and resilient woman who fought until the very end. Our only
solace is she is with her beloved Jacoby and Flo and was reunited in Heaven with her son Ryan. She is finally at peace.

Her visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River,
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5 at 10:00 AM at St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset.
(Everyone to meet directly at church).
Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.
