Donat O. Cloutier

Donat O. Cloutier, 88, of Hailes Hill Rd., Swansea, formerly of Higgins St., Fall River, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the husband of Anna R. (Simard) Cloutier. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, the son of the late Donat J. and Juliette (Pelletier) Cloutier, he lived in Fall River most of his life and in Swansea for the past 25 years. A graduate of Thibodeau Business College and Navy veteran of WW II, he was employed by O. Cloutier and Sons Lumber Hauling for many years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Teamsters Union. Besides his wife of 67 years, he is survived by 2 daughters, Alice C. Audet of Swansea and Diane R. Wilson and her husband Gary of Fort Myers Beach, Florida; a brother, Ronald Cloutier of Portsmouth, RI; a sister, Rita McLeod of Middletown, RI; 2 grandsons, David and Matthew Audet and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Paul W. Cloutier and the brother of the late Constance St.Pierre. His funeral was private. Visitation and flowers omitted. Donations may be made to the Lisa M.
