Donald J. Souza

Donald J. Souza, 80, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River and Swansea, husband of the late Lorraine (Mailloux) Souza, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014. An Entrepreneur, he owned and operated the former Bay Liquors and was a Century Insurance Agent and was employed by Sterling Beverages, J. J. Taylor Distributing and the Swansea Council on Aging. He was a member of the Fall River Power Squadron. He leaves 2 daughters, Mary Ann Busse and her husband Andrew of Swansea and Claire Stott and her husband Arthur of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Melisa Soares, Jessica Mello, Craig Rogers, Heidi Rossi and her husband Richard, Crystal Stott, Westley Stott and his wife Dawn, Kimberly Souza and Ryan Souza; great-grandchildren; siblings, Theresa Richards of Fall River and William Souza of California and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late John M. Souza and Michael D. Souza; the son of the late William and Evelyn (Pearson) Souza and the brother of the late Maureen Potvin, Dorothy Ouellette and Sharon Davis. Visitation, Wednesday, July 2, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM, at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
