Donald Padula

Donald Padula 81, of Tiverton, RI, husband of Janette Padula, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.
He was born in Providence, RI the son of Henry Padula and Sandra (Oliver) Padula.
He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Golf was his passion and he enjoyed that passion playing 30 years at Swansea County Club, in Swansea, MA.
He worked 28 years at the O'Day Boat Corporation.  He then went on to a job that was very close to his heart, working as a maintenance mechanic at the Tiverton Housing Authority, Tiverton, RI which he retired from after 22 years.

Besides his loving wife of 49 years, he leaves a very special daughter Lisa Padula, a son Michael Padula and a grandson Antonio Serrano which he loved very much and was very proud of, all from Fall River, MA. He leaves several nieces and nephews, including a beloved niece and nephew, Maegan Heath and Ryan Hearth of Tiverton, RI.
He was predeceased by brothers Ralph Padula, Dominic Padula and a sister Elizabeth Padula.
His family would like to send a loving thank you to Nursing Placement of Pawtucket, RI and Visiting  Nurses & Hospice of Portsmouth, RI for their caring compassion in helping us on our journey.
There will be a memorial service in the spring at a warm and sunny golf course.
Please give your loved one a big hug when you think of Donald, he was really good at hugs.
