Donald R. Masson

Donald R. Masson, 85, of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Ames St., died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Reina C. (Mailloux) Masson. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Donat and Antoinette (Michaud) Masson. He was employed by A & P Supermarkets for 35 years. An Army veteran of WW II, he was a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tiverton. Survivors include, a daughter, Paulette C. Roy and her husband Russell of Fall River; a son, Robert R. Masson and his wife Linda of Sussex, New Jersey; a sister, Theresa Pare of Fall River; 4 grandchildren, Cheryl and Dennis Roy and Laura and Alison Masson and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., at 9:30 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
