Donald F. Burke

Donald F. Burke, 88, of Stafford Rd., Fall River, husband of Germaine "Geri" (Charron) Burke, died Friday, April 8, 2011. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, avid bowler, and member of the Knights of Columbus, Tiverton, he owned and operated Don's Television Sales and Service for 43 years. Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves two children, Donald Burke, Jr. of Fall River, and Shirley A. O'Brien and her husband Bradley of Berkley; grandchildren, Brendan and Tracy Burke and Bradley, Jeffrey and Timothy O'Brien; and a nephew. He was the son of the late William and Mabel (Young) Burke, and the brother of the late William Burke. His funeral will be held SATURDAY at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, FRIDAY 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
