Domingos R. Pires, 56, of Kay St. Fall River, husband of 33 years to Adenoalda (Adolfo) Pires, died Thursday, February 14, 2008.
He was the son of Maria (Costa) Pires of Central Falls, RI and the late Domingos Pires.
He was employed by Pioneer and Roma Color. He was a Benfica Soccar fan, enjoyed spending time with family and was a member of Academica Club.
Besides his wife and mother, survivors include 3 daughters, Nancy Pires of New Bedford, Janice Dutcher and Elizabeth Pires, both of Fall River; siblings Maria Adolfo of Fall River, Natalie Capella, Philomena Silva, Grace DeJesus, Natasha Pires and George Pires, all of Pawtucket, RI; 6 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Victor and Walter Pires.
His funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10 a.m. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Anne Church, 818 Middle St. Fall River, MA 02721.
