Dolores (Pencak) Gauthier

Dolores (Pencak) Gauthier, 91, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River and Somerset, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was the wife of the late Theodore J. “Lippy” Gauthier.

She was a bookkeeper for 40 years for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, a member of the Somerset Village Seniors and many years ago planned trips for Sacred Heart Parish being a member of the parish Bowling League and Women’s Guild.

She leaves a daughter, Christine F. Peterson and her husband Gary of Georgetown, Texas; grandsons, Eric Peterson (wife Stephanie) of West Dundee, IL and Brenton Peterson (wife Stephanie) of Austin, TX; great-grandchildren, Colton William Peterson, Avery Victoria Peterson and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Peterson; and also leaves her companion Paul Labonte. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Deda) Pencak and the sister of the late Frances Mannion.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 13 at 9:00 A.M. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 10:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 12 at the funeral home form 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
