Diane E. (Mcnerney) Stanton

Diane E. (McNerney) Stanton, 74, of Fall River, wife of the late William E. Stanton, entered into rest Saturday, November 5, 2022.

She retired from St. Anne’s Hospital and volunteered as an election poll worker.

Diane was a foster grandparent with Citizens For Citizens in the Fall River Public School System.

She loved spending time with her family.

She was the mother of Keelin Tricia Marie Stanton, Sean Patrick O'Malley Stanton (wife Allison), and the late Infant Kealon Patrick William Stanton (Keelin's twin); grandmother of Jade Lynn Stanton; and soon to be baby boy Stanton; great-grandmother of Kassim Malek Parson, Jr.; sister of Louise, John, Edward, James and Patrick McNerney and the late Charles McNerney; sister-in-law of Christine Ayash and the late James Stanton; daughter of the late Harold E. and Marie Jeanne (Houde) McNerney.

Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery.
