Dennis R. Morin, 74, of Westport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Robin (Smith) Morin. They shared 27 years of marriage.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Raymond Morin and Claire (Costine) Hanna.

Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family, but most of all his grandchildren. He worked in the local car industries for over 25 years. He was an avid reader who enjoyed a good cup of strong coffee while listening to his favorite Jimmy Buffet music. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling, and fishing. He also loved going on spur of the moment trips to Foxwoods.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned the National Defense Service Medal.

Besides his wife, he leaves a stepfather, Samuel J. Hanna; six children, Brittany Morin, Jocelyn Taber (husband Rick), Faye Morin, Christopher Notarangelo (wife Sarah), Aaron Notarangelo and Lindsie Morin; four grandchildren, Wes, Autumn, Aubrey and Maverick; a sister, Diane Brodsky and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Donna Stout.

Family and friends are warmly invited to his Funeral Mass Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, Sanford Rd. Westport.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association at 200 Mill Road, Suite 120, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
