Delia (Furtado) Isabel

Delia (Furtado) Isabel, 91, of Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Last St., died Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Manuel M. Isabel, Sr. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Furtado Farias and Maria Dos Anjos (Leonardo) Furtado. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Elaine (Lagace) Isabel of Portsmouth, R.I.; a grandson, Raymond M.L. Isabel of Portsmouth; a sister, Irmandina Halladay of Thomasville, Georgia; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Manuel M. Isabel, Jr. and the sister of the late Joseph Furtado, Eliziero Farias and Leonard Farias. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 9:00. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 6:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
