David R. Luz

David R. Luz, 51, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. He was the loving son of David C. Luz, Jr. and Carol A. (Barselou) Luz and grandson of Marianna (Farias) Luz, all of Fall River.

David was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1983. He then enlisted in the US Navy, stationed in San Diego, CA until he was honorably discharged. An automobile mechanic, he was employed by Rodman Ford, Foxborough. He enjoyed fishing and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Robin A. Bernier and her husband Warren of New Bedford and Donna M. Pierce and her husband Robert of Marlborough; nephews and nieces, Joshua, Emma, Sarah, Caileigh and Benjamin. He also leaves his son, Travis Tillman of Fall River and daughter Amber Kadlec of Fairhaven, his beloved girlfriend, Shannon Smith also of Fall River and aunts and uncles.

Visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:30 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
