David L. Lafrance

David L. LaFrance, 81, of Orswell St., Fall River, husband of Arlene R. (Peloquin) LaFrance, died Sunday, December 5, 2010. A former Seminarian and Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was a dedicated volunteer of the former St. William Parish. He enjoyed bible studies and playing piano and organ. Besides his wife of 55 years, he leaves 3 sons, Kevin D. LaFrance of Brentwood, CA, SCPO Barry D. LaFrance, USN, Ret. (Jacqueline) of Santa Clara, CA, and David R. LaFrance (Jennifer) of Little Compton, RI; 7 grandchildren, Nicole, Shawn, Brittany, Devin, Morgan, Brandon and Kaylee LaFrance; siblings, Deacon Raymond LaFrance of East Greenwich, RI and Anne LaFrance of Lincoln, RI; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Leo and Anna (Babbit) LaFrance and the brother of the late Pearl Lord and Doris Davis. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 9:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
