David R. "Digits" Garant

David R. "Digits" Garant, 39, of Fall River, husband of Maria "Marylou" (deAlmeida) Garant and son of the late Robert Barbosa and Marie Rose (Leduc) Garant, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013. A devoted husband and father, he was employed by Kenneth Pacheco General Carpentry and was a member of New Hope Christian Church, Swansea and was a basketball fan. Besides his wife he leaves children, Brooke Garant of Florida and Kyle Garant of Fall River; stepchildren, Austin and Dana da Silva, both of New Bedford and Kayla da Silva of No. Dartmouth; siblings including Michelle Custadio and Lisa deLima, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews. Visitation in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
