David Couturier

David L. Couturier, 76, of Swansea, husband of Jeanne C. (Chouinard) Couturier, passed away, Friday, August 17, 2018.

An Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and member of American Legion, Post 303, Swansea, employed by Texas Instruments for over 30 years, retiring in 1999.

Besides his wife of 50 years, he leaves three sons, Timothy Couturier of St. Joseph, Missouri, Thomas Couturier of Los Angeles, California and Todd Couturier of Swansea; a granddaughter, Amanda Rose Couturier of New Bedford, nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henri O. and Yvette (Dion) Couturier and the brother of the late Raymond, Robert and Gerald "Butch" Couturier.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 10:00 AM. A committal service will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Swansea at 11:00 AM.
