Darwin E. Finch, Jr.

Darwin E. Finch, Jr., 61, of Fall River, passed into eternal life Monday, October 23, 2023 at Saint Anne’s Hospital after a long illness, surrounded by loved ones.

He was the husband of Debra A. (Souza) Finch.  They shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Dighton, Massachusetts, he was the son of Darwin E. Finch, Sr. and the late Marilyn (DeCosta) Richard.

Besides his wife and father, he leaves three children, Dayleen Greenwood (husband Stephan), Darwin “Buddy” Finch III and Brittany Finch; a grandson, Jaxon Greenwood; three siblings, Pamela Couto, Dawn Monte (husband David) and Darrell Finch;

He is also survived by Dominic Morse, who was like a son to him, several in-laws, nieces and nephews, beloved Godchildren, many cousins and friends.

Before his retirement due to illness, Darwin worked as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, fishing, camping, and baseball (especially the Red Sox).

Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially Wayne and Diane Souza.
