Daniel Ferreira, Sr.

Daniel Ferreira, Sr., 59, of Fall River, a Mechanic and Construction Worker, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Anne's Hospital. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Survivors include his mother, Serphina (Amaral) Ferriera Moniz of Fall River; three children, Daniel Ferreira, Jr. of Fall River, MA, Ashley-Maegan Ferreira of Warren, RI and Crystal of MA; grandchildren, Shawn Pilkington, Laura Laquerre and two grandchildren from Crystal; siblings, David Ferreira of Fall River, Theresa Wold of Flowery Branch, GA, Donald Ferriera of Swansea, Bernadette Ferreira of Fall River, Derick Ferreira of RI, Dean Ferreira of Fall River and Lisa Moniz Riberio of Ocala, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Edward T. Ferreira and the brother of the late Douglas Ferreira. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
