Daniel Costa

Daniel Costa, 78, of Stockton St., Fall River, husband of 52 years to Concorde (Talbot) Costa, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at St. Anne Hospital after a long illness with emphysema. A forklift operator for J.&J. Corragated box Co. he retired after 46 years. He was a professional soccer player on various Fall River Teams. He enjoyed fishing, riding his scooter and spending time with his family. His survivors include daughters, Marcelle Nunes and her husband John of Tiverton and Linda Pavao and her husband Custudio of Lakeland, FL and, a granddaughter, Rachel Duclos, and great-grandchildren Alex and Chelsea Duclos. He was the son of the late Jesse and Jorgina (Silvia) Costa and brother of the late John Costa. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd., Fall River at 10:00 AM; Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
