Cruz M Santiago

Cruz M. (Nieves) Santiago, 81, of 2446 Highland Ave, Fall River, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River. She was the widow of Pedro Santiago. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Valentin and Angelina (Lopez) Nieves. She resided in Puerto Rico for many years, moving to Fall River in the early 1950's. A religious woman, she frequently attended services at the Cavalry Temple Church, Fall River. She is survived by 3 daughters, Myrna Schwab of Reston, Virginia, Haydee Santiago of Barrington, Rhode Island and Miriam Santiago of Seekonk; 8 grandchildren, Matthew Schwab, Erika Cashman, Derek Burns, Andrew Schwab, Jerilyn Karam-Kozak, Ann Hassett, Richard Leeman and Cassandra Santiago; 7 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Peter and Eric Santiago. Funeral Wednesday at 8:30 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in Catholic Memorial Home Chapel, Highland Ave. at 9:30 AM. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM
