Cordelia D. McIntyre, 72, of Fall River, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
She earned degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Knoxville College, Knoxville, Tennessee and was an assistant chemist with the Fall River Water Department. She was a voting poll checker with the Fall River Board of Elections and was a 30 year member of the St. Anne Parish Choir and also a member of the Senior Citizens Chorus and the Whippoorwills Chorus Group.
She leaves a son, Kenneth G. Bryan, Jr. and his wife Charity Thomas-Bryan of Fall River; grandchildren, Justin Thomas and his wife Krystal, Terrence Thomas and Jynessa Olila Bryan; sisters, Eunice M. Ford of Alabama and Paula M. McIntyre of Virginia. She was the former wife of the late Kenneth G. Bryan, Sr.; the companion of the late Ronald G. Dupre and the daughter of the late Theodore and Vivian (Taylor) McIntyre.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Shrine at 11:00 AM.
Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Friends and relatives attending are asked to wear the colors pink and white in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys & Girls Club of Fall River, PO Box 5155, Fall River MA 02723.
