Cora L. Watson

Cora Leigh Watson, age 69, passed away at home in Fall River, MA on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Born on February 27, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the cherished daughter of Leon and Eddie Lou Watson. Cora grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Summer High School and studied at Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Cora loved working with children and opened her own daycare in 1986. She would work in the childcare field for many years. She spent the last 20 years of her life living in her beloved Massachusetts.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Angela Watson. She is survived by her five children: Renée Watson (St. Louis, MO), Crystal Preston-Watson (Denver, CO), Andre Watson (St. Louis, MO) Eric Watson (St. Louis, MO) and Brian Leflore (Fall River, MA); five grandchildren, Evan, Dwayne, Erica, Elijah, Noah; and host of cousins and friends.
