Clement Paquette

Clement "Whitey" Paquette, 79, of Fall River, died peacefully Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Alice (Goodrum) Paquette. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Louis and Rose (Desmarais) Paquette. He was the owner of Slade Formal Wear Inc. and Slade Laundry. An avid bowler, he was a captain and founding member of the Slade Laundry Bowling League. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He leaves a daughter Christine Perry and her husband William of Fall River: a son, David Paquette of Fall River; 2 brothers, Laurent Paquette and Bernard Paquette, both of Somerset; a sister, Colombe Michaud of New Bedford; a great-grandson and nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Jason Paquette and the brother of the late Louis Paquette, Dominique Paquette, Frances Martin and Sister Madeleine Paquette, SSJ. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
