Claudia ("Claude", "Mem Claude") A. (Frankowicz) Medeiros, 63, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
She was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School and later in life returned to Diman to work as a cafeteria worker for many years. She was also employed at Stevens Home and Townhouse. Claudia always had a way with words and had an entertaining sense of humor. She was known for her ease in frequent conversations even with total strangers. Some would describe her as a "social butterfly" but she was always genuinely interested in everyone that she conversed with. She was a compassionate soul who loved to read, watch TV, collect recipes, and pray. A Christian faith-filled woman, Claudia was always willing to add another person to her prayer list. She loved the beach, her Dunkin coffee, and her seafood, especially baked stuffed lobster. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her mother. Claudia absolutely loved butterflies perhaps because the butterfly is proof that one can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something so beautiful.
"Claudia, God has now wiped away every tear from your eyes. Now you have entered eternal rest, everlasting joy, and unending celebration in Heaven with your Lord Jesus Christ, your son Eric and your father Joseph…something you always longed for."
"This is not good-bye, but see you soon."
She leaves her mother, Doris (Corbin) Frankowicz; a son, Justin Medeiros and his wife Linda of Fall River; five grandchildren, Erika, Alyssa, Kendall, Peyton and Luke Medeiros; a great-granddaughter, Melina Rondon; two siblings, Kenneth Hull and Cynthia Pacheco (husband late David), both of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Eric Medeiros and the daughter of the late Joseph Frankowicz.
