Claudette (Freitas) West, 53, of Broad St., Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, widow of Stephen P. West, died Friday, August 22, 2008. The daughter of Irene (Blanchette) Freitas of Fall River and the late Antone Freitas, she was employed by Fall River Knitting Mills. Besides her mother she leaves 2 children, Shannon and Ronald Hipolito; a granddaughter, Amanda Rose Hipolito and 2 sisters, Hilda Medeiros and Linda Freitas, all of Fall River and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Freitas. Visitation in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
