Claude R. Charest

Claude R. Charest, 64 of Fall River, husband of Torrey L. Adams, passed away, Thursday, November 2, 2017 of brain cancer.

He owned and operated Colonial Window Cleaning. A graduate of Msgr. Prevost-Bishop Connolly High School, he then graduated from UMass Dartmouth, Class of 1975. He was a member of the Fall River Boys and Girls Club. He also enjoyed following Boston sports teams, relaxing with family and friends and camping. He actively followed local politics and wrote many letters to the editor of the local newspaper.

Besides his wife of 34 years, he leaves three children, Dr. Tina Charest and her husband Dr. Albert Lin of Barrington, RI, and Julie Charest and Allen Charest, both of Fall River; two granddaughters, Penelope and Adeline Lin; two brothers, Nelson Charest and his wife Marilyn of North Attleboro and Gilles Charest and his wife Susan of Taunton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the son of the late Henry and Jeannette (Laflamme) Charest.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
