Claire A. (Lussier) Roussel

Claire A. (Lussier) Roussel, 83, of Fall River, widow of Gerard R. Roussel, died Thursday, November 24, 2011. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality, and the Women's Guild of Notre Dame Parish. A former member of the Allegro Glee club, she loved to sing and was a Red Sox fan. She leaves 10 children, Jeanne Allard (Paul) of Fall River, Denise Wescott (Daniel) of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert Roussel (Janice) of Randolph, MA, Connie Roussel of Fall River, Andre Roussel (Carla) of Hamden, CT, and Michael Roussel (Michelle), Marc Roussel (Deborah), Thomas Roussel (Kristen), Edward Roussel (Michelle) and Danielle Roussel, all of Fall River; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rev. Robert Lussier of Ohio, Paul Lussier of Taunton, and Paulette Moquin of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Armand and Anna (Castonguay) Lussier. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church, at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
