Claire M. "Meem" (Marcoux) Potvin

Claire M. "Meem" (Marcoux) Potvin, of Bardsley St., Fall River, widow of Edouard L. "Ed" Potvin, died Sunday, April 17, 2011. Mrs. Potvin and her late husband owned and operated the former Potvin Auto Body, County St., for many years. She was later employed by Burlington Coat Factory and more recently was assistant to Atalay Sahin, DPM. She leaves two children, Diane Soares and her husband Thomas of Fall River and Michael Potvin and his wife Brenda of Assonet; two grandchildren, Corylyn Johnson and her husband Keith and Paul Potvin; a great-grandson, Auron Thomas Edouard Johnson; siblings, Jeanne Woodward (husband the late Malcolm) of Fall River, Roland Marcoux (wife Linda) of Somerset and Robert Marcoux (wife Jeanne) of California; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Donat and Laurette (Valcourt) Marcoux. Her funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church. Cremation to follow.
