Claire M. Morissette

Claire M. Morissette, 81, of Swansea, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014. A graduate of Jesus Marie Academy and office manager for the former A. J. Mitchell Co., Fall River, she was a volunteer at the former St. Michael Parish business office, the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Catholic Social Services Soup Kitchen. She was the sister of Lillian Morissette of Swansea and the late Mae Bergeron; the sister-in-law of Omer Bergeron of Southwick, MA; the aunt of Anne Rodgers, Ellen Marcil and John, Mark and David Bergeron and the daughter of the late Alexis and Lillian (Pelletier) Morissette. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea, at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Thursday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
