Claire Marie Levesque, 95, of Dartmouth, MA, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022. She was daughter to the late Saluste and Loretta (Brown) Fournier. She was born on August 10, 1926 in Somerset, MA. Claire spent 72 years of her life with her devoted and loving husband, Leo L. Levesque, Sr., whom she married in 1946. They were married for 72 years before Leo passed away in 2018. Together, they successfully created a wonderful life for their seven children, six of whom survive her: Lee Levesque (Carol), Keith Levesque, Brian Levesque, Lori Levesque (Wayne), Lynn Levesque (Tom), and Kevin Levesque. Claire was also mother to the late Neil Levesque who passed away in 2007. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Claire loved her family so deeply and will always be remembered for her kind heart and passionate soul. Words cannot express the love and joy that she provided to those closest to her throughout her life. Claire was one of 8 children, all of whom predeceased her. They include Thomas, Joseph, William, Andrew, and Donald Fournier, Loretta (Fournier) Souza and Marilyn (Fournier) Park. Claire was a member of Classy Lady for several years. Her travels took her to many wonderful places over the years, but her trips to Ireland held a special place in her heart. She loved discovering her ancestry and enjoyed spending time with her cousins in Ireland.
Claire held many jobs throughout her life; however, the ones she was most passionate about were her positions at Charlton Memorial Hospital, where she first worked in the Dietary department and then in the Transportation department.
