Claire Landry

Claire (Morrissette) Landry, 100, of Fall River, widow of Edgar L. Landry, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was employed by Arlan's Dept. Store and Fall River Nursing Home. She was a member of Notre Dame Parish. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling, dancing and walking.
She leaves three children, Lorraine Ziccardi of Fall River, Roger Landry (wife Christine) of Norwell, and John Landry (wife Paulette) of Swansea; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Michael Landry and Lt. Paul Landry, FRFD (wife Joyce Landry of Fall River);
the sister of the late Gertrude Pomprowick, Marie Baker, Lucille Oliver and Roger, Richard, George, Robert and Benjamin Morrissette; the daughter of the late Pierre and Lea (Gendreau) Morrissette; Her visitation will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m. in Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. with a funeral mass in St. Bernadette Church, Eastern Ave. at 11:00 a.m.
Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance the rear of funeral home.
