Claire (Gallant) Bouffard

Claire (Gallant) Bouffard, 79, of Gibbs St., Fall River, widow of Edward R. Bouffard, died Thursday, January 3, 2008. A dressmaker and past-president of the Fall River Emblem Club, she was employed by Star Fashion. She leaves, 4 children, Paul E. Bouffard of Fall River, Janice C. Peixoto and her husband Gil and Joyce Coute and her husband Michael, all of Westport, MA and Corrine Brouillard and her husband Arthur of Fall River; a sister, Rita Castanza of Florida; grandchildren, Michelle Ferzan, Melanie Souza, Michael Brouillard, Brian Peixoto, Brenda Aguiar and Joshua Peixoto; 7 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Conrad and Blanche (Charette) Gallant and the sister of the late Jeannette Santerre, Germaine Cote, Mariette St.Pierre, Conrad Gallant and Roland Gallant. Visitation Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
