Claire D. (Gagnon) Berube

Claire D. (Gagnon) Berube, 87, of Fall River, wife of Normand E. Berube, and the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (LaBrie) Gagnon, died Sunday, September 7, 2014. Her greatest enjoyment was the love of family and friends. Enriching the lives of those around her defined her life. Besides her husband of 66 years, she leaves four children, Normand E. Berube, Jr. and his wife Paulette and David Berube and his wife Jean, all of Magnolia, TX, Jeanne Paquette and her husband Reginald of Dartmouth, MA and Julie Borgatti and her husband Joseph of Fall River; grandchildren, Dawn Parker, Richard Berube, Michael Berube, Judd Berube, Ann Weitzman, Lynn Borgatti, Kaye Huwyler, and Joseph Borgatti, III; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeannette Paquette of Somerset and Robert Gagnon, Charles Gagnon, Marguerite Gagnon, Donald Gagnon, and Georgette McDonald, all of Fall River and George Gagnon of New Bedford; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Armand Gagnon. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
