Cidalia M. (Botelho) DaCosta, 63, of Chavenson St., Fall River, wife of Manuel DaCosta, died unexpectedly in Jerusalem, Israel, Saturday, February 23, 2008, while on a Holy Land pilgrimage. Born in St. Michael, Azores, she lived in Fall River most of her life and was employed by Joan Fabrics and Silver Line Windows Co.
Besides her husband of 40 years, she leaves daughters, Judy S. Medeiros and Monica Anderson, both of Fall River; grandchildren, Marisa and Jonathan DaCosta and Nina, Priscilla and Reuben Nogueira and siblings, Joseph Botelho and Delia Paiva, both of Fall River.
She was the mother of the late Steven DaCosta and the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorvalina (Cabral) Botelho.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service in Conquerors for Christ Church, No. Dartmouth at 9:00 AM. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Conquerors for Christ Church, 972 Reed Rd., Dartmouth MA 02747.
