Chrisie J. (Silva) Wallace

Chrisie J. (Silva) Wallace, 40, of June St., Fall River, formerly of Division St., died accidentally, Sunday, May 29, 2011. A nine year Army veteran, Sgt. Wallace served during the Persian Gulf War's Operation Desert Storm. A Morse Interceptor specialist attached to Military Intelligence, she was the recipient of numerous decorations including, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer's Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Automatic Rifle Bar, and Army Lapel Button. She was formerly employed by Hines Dermatology, Providence and Raynham. She leaves two children, Alexis and Zachary Wallace and her former husband George Wallace, all of Bensalem, PA; her parents, Antone "Tony" Silva, Sr. of Fall River, and Barbara "Barbie" (Berube) Silva, also of Fall River; siblings, Antone "T.J." Silva, Jr. and his wife Annie of Bristol, RI, Stephen Silva and his wife Wendy of Ellabell, GA, and Timothy Silva of Fall River; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was the granddaughter of the late Roland and Annie Berube and Joseph M. Silva. Her funeral service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
