Charlotte Sherman

Charlotte E. (Levesque) Sherman, 87, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Friday,

June 21, 2024. Her final days were spent at home, surrounded by loved ones. She

leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, George L. Sherman, Jr.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Dora (St. Michel)

Levesque.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, George L. Sherman III (wife Mary

Anne); her daughter, Elizabeth Sherman; her granddaughter, Vanessa Anne Sherman

(partner Cameron Christo); her niece, Amy Garrett (husband Rob Weland), grand niece

Audrey Weland, as well as her sister-in-law Patricia Cadorette and numerous nieces

and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Anne Marie Garrett.

Charlotte was happiest being with friends and family. She loved dancing, playing cards,

camping, and traveling throughout this country and around the world.

Much of her life revolved around the St. Anne’s parish community in Fall River. She

taught the first communion CCD class for many years and served as a Eucharistic

minister.

She worked as a medical secretary for the SouthCoast Group Internal Medicine and

Cardiology of Fall River, eventually becoming office manager.

Charlotte will be remembered at a funeral mass on Tuesday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at St.

Louis de France Catholic Church in Swansea.
