Charles A. "Charlie" Toomey, 51, of Fall River, formerly of Weymouth, husband of Jeannie (Ellis) Toomey, died Monday, April 27, 2009. He had been employed by United Van Lines - FB Rich Sons. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Besides his wife of 13 years, survivors include his former wife, Kathryn (Doherty) Toomey, of Fall River: 6 children, Christopher Toomey and his wife Jessica and Charles Toomey, all of Taunton, Shara Toomey of Fall River, Holly Bartolo and Jenny Bartolo, both of Florida and Dylan Depietro of Marshfield, MA; siblings, Susan McManus of NH, Mark Toomey of CA and Dennis Toomey of Weymouth; grandchildren Brandon "Doozer" Toomey and Jayden "J-Bird" Robinson. He was the son of the late Francis Toomey and Beverly (Thomas) Best.
